About Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheeses

Established in 1983 when the Jennings family returned to Wales from the Middle East where they had been involved in setting up some of the first commercial dairy enterprises in Libya and North Yemen.

The family operation is managed by David, Cynthia, and Jason Jennings at their traditional Welsh Hill Farm in the Preseli Mountains foothills at Rosebush, Pembrokeshire. Their cheeses are crafted using locally produced milk and combine self-taught skills and unique self-developed recipes.

All cheese is suitable for vegetarians as they use vegetarian rennet. They invite customers to their farm shop where visitors can purchase cheeses and enjoy the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.

Our Awards

Pant Mawr cheeses have won numerous awards at major cheese competitions including the World Cheese Awards, where Caws Preseli won Gold in 2003 and Oak Smoked Cerwyn has also received Gold recognition.
