Pembrokeshire is home to some of the best and cleanest beaches the UK has to offer,
with over 50 beaches to choose from no other county has more Blue Flag Beahches
or Seaside Ward Beaches, perfect for a great fmaily day out, surfing, playing, sand
castle building or picnicing. Below is a very small selection for you to view. Click on

Heatherton Country Sports Park: Heatherton Sports Country Park is open all year. We cater
for all ages and abilities, so if you're looking for a relaxing or sports filled activity fun day, or
an adrenaline-fuelled, extreme adventure day, Heatherton has it! Heatherton has a wide
choice of activities, ranging from archery, go-karts, maize maze to paintball! Admission to

Oakwood Theme Park: Wales' premier theme park, with more than 40 rides and
attractions. The centre piece is Megaphobia, voted the No. 1 wooden roller coaster in
the world. Other rides include Vertigo, a free fall experience, The Bounce - a scary
vertical drop, Snake River Falls, Europe's largest water coaster and Hydro, a BIG
water ride with an 85 degree drop. That's 5 degrees off vertical!. There are lots of
smaller rides for younger children too. Evening entertainment is included in the

Folly Farm Adventure Park: Wales' biggest farm attraction where you can touch and feed
the animals, watch the cows being milked or even have a go at hand milking. There are
falconry displays, extensive indoor and outdoor play areas, an undercover vintage funfair,

Tenby Dinosaur Park: Truly a monster day out! Welcome to family fun that lasts all
day, including Astra Slide, free 18-hole Adventure Golf, Off Roaders Circuit, Super
Jumper Trampolines, Sand Diggers, Jungle Climb, Pedal Trucking, Disco Boats,
Motorised Tractors and Orbiter Cars.
Watch Out! When you take a mile long walk through ancient woodland, on
boardwalks across swamps on the trail of our 30 prehistoric friends - watch out!

Pemberton’s Chocolate Farm: Join us at the chocolate farm where you can smell, taste,
drink, see, touch, listen to and absorb the full flavours of fine chocolate at our multi
award winning chocolate workshops. The Welsh Chocolate Farm has brown tourist
signs from the A40. You can find us 8 miles off the A40 from St Clears, Whitland or
Narberth.
The Chocolate Cafe, Chocolate Shops And Chocolate Factory are Open from 27th

Caldey Isalnd: Caldey Abbey is the home of Cistercian Monks who farm this
tiny island off the coast of Tenby and make the famous Caldey Island
perfume and chocolate.
The island can be visited from Easter to October (Mon-Fri, & Saturdays May-
October). Regular boat trips leave from Tenby Harbour. There is also a
medieval priory, lighthouse, post office/museum, gift shop and tea garden as
well as a glorious sandy beach, pleasant walks and spectacular views.

Pemborkeshire coats these include:

Whales & Dolphins in Pembrokeshire: The deep waters off Pembrokeshire are a
good place to see Cetaceans: Whales, Dolphins and Porpoises. Over a hundred
Bottlenose Dolphins live, permanently, in Cardigan Bay, off the North
Pembrokeshire coast, as do rather more harbour porpoises, their smaller cousins.
During summer months, thousands of visiting dolphins can sometimes be seen,
many with very young calves.
Numerous Whales pass the tip of Pembrokeshire as they pass through the Irish
Sea.
Sightings of very large whales like Fin Whales are quite common as well as smaller

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path: Lying completely within the Pembrokeshire
Coast National Park, Britain's only coastal National Park, the path passes
through villages strung out along its length, and passes through Fishguard,
Pembroke and Tenby.
With scenery including winding estuaries, rugged cliffs and sheltered coves,
there's 35,000 feet of ascent and descent.
The complete path is 186 miles long ans runs from Amroth to St Dogmaels
